Calgary, AB – Ryan Hegland scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help bring the Puck Bunnies erased a three-goal deficit and to a 7-4 triumph over the Whiskey Dekes at West Hillhurst Community Association on Tuesday.

Completing the scoring for for the Puck Bunnies was Matt Freymond with two goals, Lee Zacharias and Michael Grieco chipping in with singles. Kellen Marchand added two assists. Goaltender Connor Anton picked up the victory for the Puck Bunnies giving up four goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Whiskey Dekes was Adam Heath, Michael Schoell, Cody Minshull and Conor McKaigney chipping in with a goal each. Heath added two assists. Goaltender Logan Marsh surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Whiskey Dekes.

The Puck Bunnies jumped out to a 6-3 lead when Hegland scored his third of the season with 1:30 left in the third period but Minshull responded for the Whiskey Dekes with his third of the season to start the rally.

With the victory, the Puck Bunnies improve to 2-2-0-0 while the Whiskey Dekes fall to 1-2-1-0.
