Calgary, AB – Mohammad Charanek scored two goals and added an assist to help the Gorillaz to a 7-5 win over the Pigeons at Calgary Olympic Oval on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Gorillaz was Muhammad Eltassi with two goals and Ramy Kandil, Tariq Jomas and Fayas El-Bittar chipping in with a goal each. Kandil, Jomas, Mohamed Hage and Thomas Tyson each added two assists. Goaltender Baraa Elkadri picked up the win for the Gorillaz giving up five goals.

Striking for the Pigeons was Andrew Venni with two goals and Ryan Alexander, Alex Savoie and Colton Cuckow with a goal each. Goaltender Jake Sobochan surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Pigeons.

With the win, the Gorillaz improve to 10-4-1-0 while the Pigeons fall to 7-5-2-0.
