Calgary, AB – Jacob Ward scored a hat-trick and added two assists as the Cookie Dusters extended its winning streak to three games with a 14-4 pounding over the Westside Playas at Bowness Sportsplex on Friday.

Adding markers for the Cookie Dusters was Jeff Tumbach with a hat-trick, Mike McQueen, Adam Obuck and Rhys Dickey with a pair of goals each, Adnan Kovacevic and Cole Richards each with single strikes. McQueen and Trent Wells-Phelps each added three assists, Obuck, Kovacevic, Lucas Mah, Jim Morrison. Goaltender Michael Harper picked up the victory for the Cookie Dusters giving up four goals.

Scoring for the Westside Playas was James Webster with two goals and Rishi Nayar and Brandon Fong each adding single goals. Goaltender Galvin Hoondal surrendered 14 goals in the loss for the Westside Playas.

With the victory, the Cookie Dusters improve to 16-7-0-0 while the Westside Playas fall to 11-12-0-0.
