Calgary, AB – Josh Thompson scored two goals to fuel the Rockies to a 6-4 triumph over the Thundercats 2 at Flames Community Arenas (Red) on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Rockies was Nik Hayward with two goals and Joe Schell and Darin Mcbeath contributing with a goal each. Colin Chalmers added two assists. Goaltender Graham Roblin picked up the win for the Rockies giving up four goals.

Sniping for the Thundercats 2 was Casey Fraser with two goals and Christian Harvie and Ryan Fraser each tallying single markers. Goaltender Trevor Deagle surrendered six goals in the loss for the Thundercats 2.

With the win, the Rockies improve to 10-7-2-0 while the Thundercats 2 fall to 7-9-2-1.
