Calgary, AB – Trevor Engstrom scored his fourth goal of the season with 4:44 remaining in the third period and Matt Danko scored two goals and added an assist to help fuel the Grey Goose II to a 6-5 win over the Mad Flails at Jack Setters Arena on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Grey Goose II was Jason Sykora and David Davis, Adam Johnston chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Derek Coates picked up the win for the Grey Goose II giving up five goals.

The win snapped the Grey Goose II's three-game losing skid.

Striking for the Mad Flails was Joey Thompson and Kevin Sass with a pair of goals each and Andrew Downie with a single tally. Goaltender Steve Djokich surrendered six goals in the loss for the Mad Flails.

The Mad Flails jumped out to a 4-0 lead when Sass scored his 14th of the season with 1:51 left in the first period but Danko responded for the Grey Goose II with his 23rd of the season to start the rally.

With the win, the Grey Goose II improve to 9-10-1-2 while the Mad Flails fall to 11-9-1-1.
