Calgary, AB – Preston Payne scored two goals to lead the South Pointe Toyota Pistons to a 6-4 triumph over the iPhix Phlyers at Trico Centre For Family Wellness (Arena 1 - East) on Thursday.

Capping off the scoring for the South Pointe Toyota Pistons was Nick Lawrence and Adam Milliken, Darren Nyrose and Joey Kroon each tallying single markers. Goaltender Chris Carriere picked up the victory for the South Pointe Toyota Pistons giving up four goals.

Finding the twine for the iPhix Phlyers was Johnny Watton with two goals and Daniell Sylvestre and Steve Pagotto chipping in with a goal each. Sylvestre and Nathan Walker each added two assists. Goaltender Mark Walker surrendered six goals in the loss for the iPhix Phlyers.

With the victory, the South Pointe Toyota Pistons improve to 5-2-0-0 while the iPhix Phlyers fall to 1-6-0-0.
